you. We have prepared a well-organized program for your adventurous and exciting trip

Overview

An African Safari is an unforgettable travel experience, it touches something deep and
it is an experience that will never be forgotten.
A trip to Tanzania is both intriguing and exciting, created by the fascinating balance
between the wildlife, the landscapes and its people.
Tanzania is the best safari destination in Africa. There's an incredible amount of
wildlife in a wide variety of National Parks, some of which only receive a hand full
of tourists every year.

About your trip

The trip will start in Dar Es Salaam and you will be able to enjoy your six (6) days
staying in Tanzania

DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: Pick up and enjoy Dar Es Salaam city
Activity;-

Upon your arrival at Airport, you’ll be greet and meet by a friendly member of Afriquest
Safaris who will provide you short briefing about your safari then escort you to the
hotel at Four points by Sheraton in Dar Es Salaam and help you check-in, Whether you’d
like to explore the city or get some rest it’s up to you, but tomorrow your real Tanzanian
adventure begins.

Day 2: Dar es Salaam/Mikumi National Park

Pick up by your safari guide at the hotel, and depart for Mikumi National park (5-6
hours’ drive from Dar Es Salaam), your arriving time depends on your pick up and
departure time.

Mikumi National Park is being nestled between the Uluguru Mountains to the East and
the Rift Valley Escarpments to the Southwest. As it is close to the Selous ecosystem
and therefore part of it, it benefits from the highest game density of the entire
conservation area. The Mikumi National Park obtains a good impression of the African
animal world and is definitely suitable for a short visit. After arrival at Mikumi
National Park you have the opportunity to rest and enjoy your hideaway lodge or visit
Maasai Boma (Optional) where you will be able to learn this traditional tribe on their
ways of living close to the National Park sharing their life in wildlife, their
dressing styles and so on

Note; this activity is optional.

Dinner and overnight will be at the Park Bandas or Camp Bastian.
Meals Plan; Lunch and Dinner

Day 3: Mikumi National Park

Breakfast, followed by a full day game viewing drive in the park. The park shares a
common boundary with Selous Game Reserve to the South forming a vast track of
protected wilderness. Lunch will be at Kikoboga Camp or park bandas in the park. In
the afternoon after lunch we will continue game viewing drive in the park around the
hippo pools (Kisungura Circuit). Most animal can be seen coming down to drink at water
holes and the Hippo Pools from time to time but the stars of the show will always be
the hippos and crocodile.

Dinner and overnight at will be at the Park Bandas or Camp Bastian.

Day 4: Mikumi National Park/Dar es Salaam

After an early morning breakfast depart with packed lunch box to Dar Es Salaam, where
you will arrive in the afternoon and drop off at the airport in time to catch your
flight to Zanzibar, which depart at 16:00 hrs. The flying time is only 20minutes
landing in Zanzibar

After your arrival and meet up with your driver guide, “it has been a long day and you
will want to rest in a phenomenon front beach resort so you will go to KWANZA RESORT,
this hotel will be the hotel of your dream and place you wish to be after all troubles
of life, its elegant and the customer service is excellent you won’t regret.

Day 5: Nakupenda Sandbank and Prison Island

Wake up at the hotel in Zanzibar, where by you will start this fun day with a transfer
to stone town where we can catch a wooden or fiber local boat to experiences the
25minutes ride to Nakupenda Island;-

Prison Island: Also known as Changuu Island or Quarantine Island. In 1893 the former
British prime minister of Zanzibar purchased the Island and built a prison complex on
it, but it never served to its intended use! It was used as a quarantine station for
yellow fever cases. Today the building is a ruin, but it serves as a guesthouse for
tourists. You will meet the giants tortoise ‘reserve, where you will admire, pet, and
even feed these magnificent, ancient, peaceful creatures. In 1919 four Aldabra giant
tortoises, a gift from the governor of Seychelles were brought here. They find Prison
Island a great environment and bred freely. Today many tortoises are welcoming you,
and the first settlers are still among them! Here is also a nursery for a baby
tortoises, where you can see baby tortoises of different ages. A great encounter for
everyone, especially for kids! Filled for a new adventure wave, time to say goodbye to
prison Island and board boat for a good half an hour (30 minutes) ride to Nakupenda
Beach.

Nakupenda Beach; Nakupenda means “I love you”, here you will have to endure some
excitement, you will enjoy and feel loved by exploring a gentle soft sand spilling
over your feet while walking, mellow waves caressing your body and super-friendly
personnel tending your needs. Swim, sunbathe and snorkel the crystal clear waters.
After a dive, you will surely be ready for a sumptuous beach lunch, including grilled
shrimps, squid, octopus, lobster and langoustine depending on the daily, heading to
stone town then to the hotel after finish your tour in the evening.

Dinner and overnights stay at 4* hotel.

Day 6: The Departure day

On this day, will be no accommodation and the activities you will only enjoy the time
in the hotel up to your time for transfer to the airport.
This is a sad moment with my clients, which it’s always hard on me to say goodbye to
my client because I wish for your staying would be a bit longer but as it supposed to
be, I have to wish you a wonderful fly back home.

What included: - Pick /drop ex airport/ hotel before and after the trip, Domestic
flight to and from the airport, Park entrance fees into the National Park,
Accommodation as per itinerary, The services of our knowledgeable English speaking
driver/guide, Meals and game drives as per itinerary, Optional activities as mentioned
in the itinerary, Drinking water and Soft drinks such as Soda or juice, Safari
transport by 4 x 4 (6 seat) with a roof hatch that pop up to enable easy game viewing
and photography in to the National Park, Group size is minimum 2 participants on
private.

Not included in the cost: - Alcoholic and other beverages, Optional activities not
